Our goal is to create a total of 40+ film shorts addressing a wide variety of health issues through relatable characters and situations. They cover the most prevalent and preventable health conditions this country is experiencing, from trauma to chronic disease such as diabetes and hypertension, from the opioid epidemic, to obesity and sleep deprivation to healthy aging and many more.
We have begun working with the first two test markets — Sacramento and Tucson — with eyes toward soft launches in the spring. Lessons learned from these cities will inform launches in four remaining test markets — Nashville, Omaha, Milwaukee, and East Harlem. In selecting test markets, we considered demographics including income, culture, age, employment, education, as well as health and healthcare coverage data.
A national launch is planned for early 2020.
