The Take Care Campaign

The Healthy US Collaborative introduces TakeCare, a multi-year, multi-faceted national campaign that invites people to take care of their whole health—mind, body, spirit and community.

A health and well-being initiative to inspire people through powerful storytelling and integrated communications strategies.

Film Shorts Are the Core of This Unique Campaign

Our goal is to create a total of 40+ film shorts addressing a wide variety of health issues through relatable characters and situations. They cover the most prevalent and preventable health conditions this country is experiencing, from trauma to chronic disease such as diabetes and hypertension, from the opioid epidemic, to obesity and sleep deprivation to healthy aging and many more.

A Proof of Concept is Underway

We have begun working with the first two test markets — Sacramento and Tucson — with eyes toward soft launches in the spring. Lessons learned from these cities will inform launches in four remaining test markets — Nashville, Omaha, Milwaukee, and East Harlem. In selecting test markets, we considered demographics including income, culture, age, employment, education, as well as health and healthcare coverage data.

A national launch is planned for early 2020.
